My first cat was a tortoiseshell, and she was the sweetest, most loving cat I've ever owned. My parents found her near a dumpster behind a movie theater while walking back to their car after seeing a movie in the early 90s. I was 3 years old, and I remember them wrapping her in a towel after a bath and letting me hold her. I named her “Meow” because that's what I thought cats were called. She was the best cat.
